Responsibilities

Position Description:

The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for the sale of TEKsystems suite of offerings focused in our State & Local Government and Government vertical business. These service offerings include Talent Services and Professional Services such as Cloud, Cyber, and Digital Modernization. The AM has responsibility for growing our government footprint in the Greater Philly area:

Duties of the Role Include:

Learning the TEKsystems organization and our business offerings
Building a sales plan for the territory
Developing a strategy and rhythm to execute on that plan
Identifying customer pains / problems / areas of opportunity our services can help solve
Bring in opportunities from the territory, and work with the delivery team to fulfill and deliver on those opportunities.
Collaborate with managers, stakeholders, directors in targeted customer set Build and maintain relationships with counterparts across the Sales and delivery organization to drive business.
Ability to assess competitive landscape
Solid business acumen
Excellent networking skills
Problem solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent written, verbal, analytical with persuasive and interpersonal skills

The successful candidate will fully understand TEKsystems services and its position in the market and they must have an understanding of the City and State government industry. The successful candidate will be able to effectively leverage existing experience or relationships to accelerate the development of business opportunities within the territory.
Qualifications

Educational & Experience Requirements:

Bachelors or Associates degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or similar majors OR military experience OR 2-4 years of professional experience in Sales (management experience preferred/ not required)
Minimum of 2+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience and a track record of exceeding quotas
Experience in staff augmentation or other service-oriented sales, especially within the IT industry is highly preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A sense of urgency, excellent presentation skills and a high standard of professionalism and character are musts
A desire to learn is needed
