After Sales Service and Training Manager

We are currently searching for the right candidate to join our team as an After Sales Service and Training Manager. This challenging position, based in Chilton, Wisconsin, will be responsible for leading our field service and replacement parts team. This position will also develop and implement technical training programs for our customers as well as our internal technical staff. The position is ultimately responsible for our customer's satisfaction with the technical performance of our products.

Key Duties include:

Direct activities of the department with respect to personnel under supervision, including staffing, scheduling, training, career growth and development, assessing employee performance and resolving personnel problems.

Assign and dispatch personnel to provide product service and warranty support for MB product users.

Develop structured training programs and courses for MB service and customer personnel.

Act as Chief Trainer for MB Companies Products technical matters and courses and train service representatives on products as required.

Travel to various customer sites as required for training and in support of the service team.

Attend trades shows as necessary.

Receive and respond to after-hours emergency calls for service-related issues.

Provide feedback to engineering and manufacturing on service reporting and follow up with appropriate personnel to assure solutions to technical issues and field failures.

Develop program to catalog failures and follow up on repetitive failures to their ultimate solution.

Develop and maintain a service and training budget

Review service representative Call Reports, Delivery Condition Reports and Service Condition Reports.

The ideal candidate will have:

An Associate's degree in a business or technical discipline and two to four years of sales/service experience, preferably with large vehicles; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude, with solid troubleshooting skills
Ability to prepare and present technical trainings
Willingness to travel (approximately 20-30%)

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a variety of people
Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet time deadlines.
