Automotive Parts Advisor

The Automotive Parts Advisor will deliver exceptional service to retail and installer customers while assisting store management with various tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Uphold and promote all company customer service initiatives, including Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, and Rock the Call.
• Warmly greet customers upon their arrival and aid them in selecting appropriate products.
• Provide support to managers and installer service specialists in addressing the needs of professional customers.
• Complete all mandatory training relevant to the position.
• Assist customers over the phone by adhering to company policies, accurately identifying parts, quoting prices, and recommending related items.
• Manage the cash drawer efficiently, ensuring accurate transaction processing for cash, checks, and credit cards.
• Facilitate exchanges and returns professionally, adhering to company guidelines.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and with a positive attitude.
• Participate in daily inventory and stock management tasks, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and maintaining a tidy store environment.
• Operate store testing equipment and perform in-store services permitted by local laws (such as wiper installation, battery testing, and vehicle diagnostics).
• Drive a delivery vehicle as needed, ensuring compliance with company driving eligibility requirements.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Required:
• Exceptional ability to match alphanumeric sequences.
• Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Capacity to multitask effectively while assisting customers both in-person and over the phone.
• Preferred:
• Familiarity with automotive parts and sales, including cataloging systems.
• ASE certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly preferred).
