Job Description

An accredited acute care health organization located in upstate New York is currently searching for an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist CRNA to join their award-winning team! This not-for-profit healthcare system combines a team of dedicated medical professionals that provide hands-on patient-centered care for a community exceeding 100,000 individuals. On-site you can find award-winning services such as ambulatory care, oncology services, perioperative surgical care and robotics, primary and family care, imaging and laboratory services, rehabilitative services, women's health, cardiac and vascular care, and much more. Working under direction of the Anesthesiologist, the CRNA will deliver anesthesia utilized during medical and surgical procedures. The CRNA will provide direct patient care before, during, and after medical or surgical procedures which includes proper patient sedation, pain management, monitoring the patient during recovery from anesthesia, and caring for any post-operative needs. The CRNA will also perform administrative functions within the anesthesia department, lead quality control and performance improvement projects, and perform various other duties as required. Requirements Include:
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in New York
  • Currently certified as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist CRNA
  • Prior experience working as a CRNA in an acute care setting highly preferred
