Job Summary:
The Clinical Interventional Radiologic Technologist plays a vital role in patient care by operating digital imaging equipment and assisting with complex invasive procedures. Your expertise in patient positioning and the preparation of contrast media will be essential in aiding physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. A comprehensive understanding of anatomy and physiology is crucial, as you will work with various substances including contrast media, chemotherapy agents, and embolization agents. This clinical position will require flexibility, including potential on-call responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- State of Connecticut Radiographer license.
- ARRT Certification in Radiography required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Education: Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
Experience: At least 1 year as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred.
