An exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketing expert to join this fantastic Charity at a time of significant growth. This organisation provides programmes for underrepresented beneficiaries, addressing disparity of opportunity, supporting young people, enriching society and helping communities. This is a hybrid role with 2 days remote working and 3 days based in their offices near Lewisham.
The successful candidate will be an exceptional Content and Communications professional who is inspired by change and looking to work within a collaborative, supportive and passionate team. You will need have some experience working for or within the third sector. This organisation is in an exciting phase in the development of a new digital platform, which will enable a national reach of their programmes, which will give ever more young, under-represented individuals the opportunity to connect with career resources, guidance, mentoring, work placements, internships, bursaries, events and more!
The purpose of this role is to develop communication channels and strategy to help launch this new Digital Platform, working closely with the Digital Transformation and Communication teams. You will be responsible for creating, reviewing and editing content for the company which will be published in the company's websites and social media pages. This role requires someone who is creative and can identify, create, manage and deliver digital content using a range of techniques, across channels including websites, social media and webinars. Creating videos on YouTube, writing blogs and making viral TikTok. You will know how to build a personal brand online and share it with the world!
Reporting into the Strategic Director responsibilities include
Developing, managing and delivering a communications programme
Coordinating all aspects of audio-visual creation from hiring relevant experts to reviewing material and being present at film shoots
Researching and creating an SEO approach for key terms
Reviewing sales funnels and growth marketing strategy for the Inclusive Opportunities Portal (IOP)
Conducting research to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and then contextualising your findings to improve user experience
Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for the IOP, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms
Collaborating with the internal communication team to establish campaign objectives and complete tasks
Managing external communication activities including overseeing relationships with external stakeholders for the IOP
