Lead Electrician for Maintenance

Key Responsibilities:

• Run conduit, pull wire, check fuses, and work in electrical rooms.

• Lead electrical audits while scheduling necessary repairs.

• Participate in all projects with electrical components.

• Maintain updated 1-line drawings.

• Complete electrical preventive maintenance for electrical rooms and motor control centers.

• Assist production and maintenance teams with electrical issues as required.

• Oversee predictive maintenance programs and assist in troubleshooting air leaks and other issues.

• Develop and maintain equipment routes.

• Utilize good computer skills for documentation and management.

• Lead maintenance technicians on the 1st and 2nd shifts, ensuring work schedules are in place.

• Apply advanced electrical knowledge for preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance tasks.

• Ensure timely installation, maintenance, and repair of various electrical systems and components.

• Create, install, and troubleshoot wiring layouts and circuit routing.

• Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints.

• Document and verify completed work using maintenance management software.

• Engage with external vendors and management for continuous improvement.

• Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and aerial lifts as necessary.

• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

• Previous experience in industrial or agricultural maintenance.

• Must have a Journeyman's certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish).

• Experience in the industrial meat industry or similar.

• Prior work history in a fast-paced production environment.
