Leading healthcare organization in Georgia is seeking an experienced Nurse Leader for their Nurse Director of Critical Care position.
This is your opportunity to work with a Magnet designated hospital and with a diverse patient population on the surgical intensive care unit. There are currently 12 beds and expanding to 18. The patients will range from ENT, Head and Neck, OBGYN emergencies, Gastrointestinal and more with a focus on critical care general surgical and medical overflow.
The Nurse Director of Critical Care will direct all facets of the unit to include development, implementation and evaluation of policy, procedure, strategies and services for the unit. The Nurse Director will also be responsible for the department financials and budgets. This position will have direct reports to encompass the direction and supervision of nursing staff.
The qualified Nurse Director of Critical Care will have their Bachelor's of Nursing and Master's of Nursing degree preferred. Progressive leadership roles in the area of Critical Care is ideal. Five years of experience which includes three years of clinical nursing and two years of nursing leadership.
The Nurse Director of Critical Care will have the option to live in an urban or suburban area of Atlanta.
