Reporting to the Nurse Director of Professional Development, the Nurse Educator will lead the Surgical Services Professional Development programs and lead all staff education programs for the perioperative service areas. The Nurse Educator of Surgical Services will serve as a clinical expert and resource, works with department leaders to implement education programs and evaluate staff competencies, streamlines the system professional development operations, regulatory readiness, and staff recruitment and retention.
- Graduate of an approved nursing program
- RN state licensure or ability to attain upon hire
- Prior nurse educator experience in a surgical setting
