Reporting up to the Director of Performance Improvement and Quality, this role will oversee a tenured team of performance improvement staff and oversight of quality initiatives in collaboration with medical staff, hospital staff, and leadership. This Nurse Manager of Quality role will work collaboratively with other Nurse Managers and Assistant Nurse Managers.

The Nurse Manager of Quality will be a major player in Nurse Development, program and policy creation and implementation. You will implement training, monitoring and operations initiatives that assure compliance with ethical and legal business practices and accreditation/regulatory/ government regulations and will be an extremely meaningful part of this team and culture. You will work closely with exceptional physicians, techs, and staff to continue to provide and manage patient centered quality care.

The primary goals of the Nurse Manager of Quality include guiding, coaching and mentoring staff and assisting in day to day staffing decisions including hiring. This role will oversee budget compliance and policy and procedure creation for the unit. As part of this Magnet recognized facility, the Nurse Manager of Quality provides guidance to staff and is responsible for staffing, budget compliance, contributing to staffing decisions such as hiring and terminating employment, coaching and overall mentoring.
