Reporting to the Divisional Director of Critical Care, the Nurse Manager Trauma ICU will be accountable for overseeing the 30+ bed Intensive Care Unit. Responsibilities of the Nurse Manager Trauma ICU include overseeing day-to-day operations, updating policy procedures, ensuring state and regulatory compliance, and department staffing which includes scheduling, payroll, disciplinary action, evaluations, and assisting with the hiring process. Additionally, the Nurse Manager Trauma ICU partners with the nurse educators to provide exceptional educational programs offered to new hires and current department staff.
The Nurse Manager Trauma ICU should have a clinical background working in critical care, Intensive Care, or Trauma unit with prior clinical leadership experience. Additionally, the Nurse Manager Trauma ICU should hold an active Registered Nurse license and Bachelor's degree.
