Operations - Food and Beverage Manager, required for our client, a prestigious property in the Rye, East Sussex area.
As Operations - Food and Beverage Manager the ideal candidate for this role, will already have gained previous hands-on experience as a Restaurant / Bar Manager or Food and Beverage Manager. Consideration of candidates, currently holding Assistant level, but now seeking career progression and advancement, also welcome to apply. Service style at this property is gastro pub style along with cocktails / champagne and wines.
As Operations - Food and Beverage Manager, you will ensure guest satisfaction, increase sales, maintain standards and be responsible for the smooth delivery of service. This is a hands-on role, on the floor requiring you assist with the responsibility for the day to day business and operations providing a 'Mine Host' engaging and welcoming your guests, whilst leading and developing your team to deliver the highest standards of hospitality.
The role of the Operations - Food and Beverage Manager, will be to supervise, train, motivate, develop and lead your team to ensure the smooth delivery of service and standards. You will be working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, including the busy week-ends within this F&B department.
As Operations Food and Beverage Manager you will have:
- Previous food and beverage supervisory / managerial service experience from within a premier hotel or from within a cocktail bar that serves food / brasserie restaurant / gastro pub
- Excellent guest service skills with a background of exceeding guest expectations
- Good product knowledge: cocktails, champagnes, wines and spirits bringing creative flair to the menu
