Longivew/Tyler Area ED Seeks 5 EM Physicians 7a-7p, 7p-7a 12 & 24 hour shifts available 7 Shift per month minimum 3 ED Physicians needed BC/BE EM, FP/IM Position Profile: 12,000 Annual volume 11 beds 2 hour drive from Dallas 24 hours of physician coverage daily Critical Access hospital Daily census: Beds in the hospital Hospitalist in house 24 hours of lab services 20% admission rate Older population/higher acuity Level III stoke support facility designated by the Texas Department of State Health Services Physicians and nurses with advanced trauma life support training, so patients can receive immediate and appropriate care Diagnostic services featuring x-ray, ultrasound, CT with iDose radiation reduction and other imaging modalities when needed Laboratory services on-site Private treatment rooms The ability to monitor and stabilize heart attack and stroke patients Transfer to Level 1 trauma center, if higher level of care is needed. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Specialty Required: EM, IM & FM Preferred availability 7 shifts per month, will accept 5 Qualified candidates must be BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) or Internal Medicine/ Family Practice (ABIM/ABFM) with Emergency Department experience.
