If you are Product Marketing professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Appleton Groups Global HQ in Rosemont, IL, and reporting to the Vice President & General Manager of the Heating Cable Systems business, you will lead the Product Marketing function for the Heating Cable Systems (HCS) business across the residential, commercial, and industrial market segments. This high-visibility role will require you to identify and leadproduct development programs for the HCS business. We are looking for a strong product manager that can spend time with customers & partners to define market needs and be responsible for cradle to grave product management of the HCS product portfolio. You will work with the HCS sales, engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to craftproducts to meet customer needs and get products into production as quickly as possible. You will also be responsible for leading research and reporting activities, management reporting as well as project management responsibility for key programs. The Product Marketing Manager for the residential and commercial market segments will report to you.AS THE PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER FOR HEATING CABLE SYSTEMS, YOU WILL:

Serve as the specialist on our customers, including their buying habits and needs, and know your competition to gain a competitive advantage.
Communicate product strategy, plans and roadmaps all functional areas as appropriate
Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by ongoing visits to customers and non-customers
Conduct competitive analysis to resolve product features and pricing. Translate customer feedback and market trends into clearly defined phased releases
Lead the new product development process; from idea generation to launch, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market.
Communicate the value proposition of our products to the sales team and generate high-quality sales aids such as product guides, press releases and web content
Develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products
Review portfolio and find opportunities for product obsolescence and rationalization.
Perform ongoing analysis and propose vital actions to ensure continued marketability of the product line.
