Job Description

Arhaus is looking for a proactive Production Assistant to join our growing department as we expand our eCommerce and campaign photography initiatives. This position will play an integral role in the organization of the studio/sets/flooring, and preparation and movement of all product as it works through eCommerce and campaign photography shoots.
Core Job Functions
Prep merchandise to be photographed, including unpacking, assembling, organizing, tagging and staging product and packaging in designated staging areas
Work with Merchandise Coordinator to prioritize workflow of items coming into the studio workspace and items going out of the studio Move product on and off set for photo teams
Preparing merchandise post-photography to go back into inventory including disassemble, wrap, re-package and label product with efficiency and accuracy Support Merchandise Coordinator 50%, and photo / production teams the other 50% of the time Participate in studio projects as needed; painting, building, organizing, and moving photo studio set assets
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds Physically move merchandise from the mock store or samples rooms that are on transfer to the photo studio Basic carpentry skills
Ability to maintain an efficient and organized workflow in a busy, fast paced collaborative environment
Maintain an orderly and clean work environment
Drive box trucks and moving van as needed for product drop-offs and pick-ups to location shoots or to support other company initiatives Organize products, props, and other items for photo shoots, as needed
Grab pieces in mock store, or samples rooms that are needed and on transfer
Address quality and packaging issues with Merchandise Coordinator
Assist with keeping the studio and photo storage areas neat and organized
Collaborate with picker, inventory coordinator and production teams to ensure product will arrive and is unpacked in a timely manner Be able to think creatively and ideate creative solutions in order to adapt our environment and processes as photo standards and art direction evolve Be a team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel

1+ year experience working on photo / video sets
Dedicated to business and allow flexibility with work hours if necessary
Valid Drivers license
Willingness to work additional hours on photo shoots
Education: High school diploma; College degree preferred
