Job Description

This is an entry level position. The Analyst will be a key supporting member of the research team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure to the consulting and institutional investment management industry, as well as gain a practitioner's understanding of a variety of asset classes and investment strategies.

The Analyst will support Segal Marco Advisors research efforts with the opportunity to work on teams dedicated to equity investments. Responsibilities include preparing client-ready search books and other materials, writing meeting notes, assisting in the production of research papers and presentations, interviewing investment managers, performing essential data collection and analytics, and providing general client service support. The Analyst will also participate in the evaluation of manager and client portfolio performance, and the ongoing development of our knowledge base of investment managers in accordance with our proprietary Manager Research & Ranking (MR2) system.

The ideal candidate will have Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with a major in an analytic field such as finance, accounting, or economics. The candidate must have a strong attention to detail with a quantitative and a computer background. An interest in investments including a familiarity with quantitative financial techniques is desired.
