Our client is a US-based multinational company, operating in the machinery industry. In order to support their growth, we have been hired to recruit for a Sales Area Manager.
The position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and VP Sales Advanced Materials, Plastic & Metals

Job Description
Our client is seeking a Sales Area Manager to join a team of professionals in growing their business by selling their various machinery products to customers within the United States (TX, OK, KS, MO, Ar, LA, MS, AL, TN & KY)

Main duties and responsibilities:
Benchmarking of the main competitors;
Elaborating the annual sales budget for the area, in accordance with the Management, and the accomplishment of the goals;
Establishing, building and maintaining relationships with the current customer's portfolio;
Identifying, selecting and developing new sales distributors, establishing new partnerships when needed;
Managing and supporting all the commercial activities for the established area;
Analyzing the market needs and searching for new possibilities;
Maximizing profits of the company through business development;

Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Previous job experience: at least 5 years in a similar position (sales) in advanced, plastic, or metal (WJ) market

Knowledge of advanced material application, thermoforming processing, water jet cutting, and proven skills of selling customized equipment
Advanced level of utilization of Google Doc and Google Drive Able to take extreme ownership and strong motivation to succeed Able to deal with complexity as well as enhancing openness, leading on decision making, and assuming business as own Strong Communication and positivity

Languages: English mother tongue, a second language between Spanish and Italian is a plus
