Senior Building Service Manager £85k - £95k
Our Client is a major Tier 1 Main Contractor enjoying continued success in the building services arena, are now looking to recruit a Senior Building Services Manager to join their team to deliver a quality service and product to our clients in line with the project goals by working with the project team. Specifically, to manage the building services engineering design/ installation process, and to minimise risks associated with this to the project and to the company.
You will be charged with the delivery of MEP services on a new build Commercial Offices project in London. You will be required to carry out the full coordination and management of M&E services installations on a project with an M&E value typically £30m - £400m.
Key Accountabilities:
Assist with sub-contractor procurement
Attend all prestart meetings
Carry out regular review meetings with MEP Engineers and Project Managers monitoring progress against programme, identifying risks and assisting where required
Provide input for progress report that are to be presented to project team
Attend clients progress meetings when required
Manage the contractors and consultants on site
Attend tender handover meetings
Demonstrated the ability to deliver large scale projects
Demonstrated the ability to be a strong leader with good organisational skills
Experienced Mechanical or Electrical biased
Commercial experience
Experienced in managing design delivery
Have a good knowledge in commissioning a building services in a construction environment
Successful applicants will have main contractor experience, preferably with a HND/HNC Building Services qualification.
