NxGen Recruit are currently recruiting for a Senior IT Support Engineer for a expanding business based in Milton Keynes.
Your main duties as part of this role will be:
- Face to face and remote based IT Support dealing with technical escalations relating to end users, systems and servers.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues including Windows Server (Apply online only), MS Exchange, Active Directory and M365.
- Supporting physical, virtualised and cloud based servers.
- Systems Administration
- Leading on IT Projects
- Completing installations, moves and changes
- Creating technical documentation
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Server Support / 3rd Line / Infrastructure Support / Systems Administration experience.
- Windows Server, Office365, Active Directory
- Any experience in SQL Server and Virtualisation Hyper-V would be advantageous however not essential
- Also ideally experience in a ITIL based environment
- Professional Certifications would be highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Please note this role is office based 5 days per week working 37.5 hours per week.
In return the client is offering career progression, excellent benefits and a salary of £32,000-£45,000 depending on experience and certifications.
