Leidos is seeking a Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer to work in its Arlington, VA office. The role supports various DoD customers, developing cutting edge technology and providing system architecture analysis, model development, and mentoring junior engineers. Primary Responsibilities Use MBSE methodologies and tools to develop system architectures for new programs. Assist the Solution Architect or Primary Investigator to align solution architecture with customer requirements. Create and maintain MBSE models using NoMagic CSM. Capture, decompose, and trace system level requirements; analyze and refine architectures and interfaces. Develop system structure and behavior. Collaborate with government stakeholders, software, test, mechanical, and electrical teams. Mentor junior team members. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience or master's degree with 6+ years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, or test engineering. U.S. Citizen. Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS. Experience working in a SIL environment. Experience with SysML, preferably using Cameo/MagicDraw. Strong desire to grow and learn new technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications Active TS clearance. Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban. Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket). OCSMP certification. Experience with executable SysML simulation and scripting languages. Experience with MBSE methodologies such as Magicgrid. Understanding of military CONOPS. Experience leading other systems engineers.
