Our client, a leading DTC firm, is looking for a VP, Performance Marketing in their Austin office


Responsibilities

  • This candidate is highly creative, data driven, and well versed in measuring conversions.
  • They will be responsible for driving forward and innovating our direct-to-consumer business.
  • This candidate is obsessed with understanding user behavior and influences to design memorable product experiences that rapidly adapt to learnings and changing conditions.
  • To succeed in this role, you should be perceptive, data-driven and a reliable problem solver.
  • Develop a strategic digital marketing plan with measurable impact that provides visibility into the 360-degree view of a customer's marketing experience: from initial engagement, to consideration, to purchase, to retention and subscription services. Map customer journey touchpoints to every step of the marketing funnel.
  • Manage direct and performance channels including email, paid search, display advertising, remarketing/targeting, social media, and more- supporting both acquisition and retention efforts to drive business for ecommerce.
  • Measure the success of each customer-facing process both in absolute terms and versus competitors and determine goals for improvement.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, demand generation, and online advertising role at a DTC company
  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing or related field required
  • Direct experience in a highly visible and cross functional role with high amounts of interaction with operational, and marketing organizations
  • Proven track record of defining and optimizing processes
  • Demonstrated experience leading team-level or product-specific product, design in a direct-to-consumer business
  • An absolute obsession with breaking down complex systems into buckets and reassembling them to influence behaviors at scale
  • Advanced knowledge with paid search models
  • Understanding of Agile development methodology and related release processes
  • Comfortable with data and making data driven decisions to prioritize feature set
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
