An exciting career growth opportunity has become available as a party of a Health System in sunny San Diego! This system is looking to hire an experienced Finance Leader for the VP Revenue Cycle opening.

This entire Health System is comprised of 450 acute care beds spread across several locations. The VP Revenue Cycle will report to the CEO and collaborate alongside multiple departments, including the Quality department and Physician Advisors. Reporting to this role will be all employees who work on the day to day strategy and vision of Revenue Cycle Operations. This role will also Chair the Committee for Revenue Optimization as well as be the primary contact for external regulatory agencies.

The Revenue Cycle Vice President will spearhead care contracting, capitation risk management, patient registration, pre-arrival, financial counseling, charge capture, coding, clinical documentation improvement, clinical resources management, discharge planning, social workers, nurse auditors, physician advisors, patient financial services, and revenue cycle analytics. The VP Revenue Cycle will also ensure financial viability by managing both applicable revenue and expenses with attention to supply cost utilization and a high level of productivity in cost centers under direct control.

The ideal VP Revenue Cycle candidate will possess at minimum 10 years of Financial management experience including 5 years in accounting management or reporting. CPA certification and a Bachelor's degree in Business is preferred.
